Therapy & Coaching

My experience and training background

I enjoy the creativity of therapy and coaching, working with my client's unconscious minds to get their best desired outcomes. Teaching is about sharing the useful, even life-changing, knowledge and  skills I have gathered.

I believe that any health problem expressed in the mind and body is best addressed through an integrated approach of nutrition and psychotherapies.

Since 1997 I have been advising and supporting people with nutritional therapy. I was fortunate to practice in the inspirational clinic of the late Dr Robert Erdmann in Tunbridge Wells. He taught me a great deal.

I also wrote a regular nutrition column in Positive Health magazine and have taught nutrition and healthy cookery.

My approach has been featured in The Independent, Woman and Woman’s Weekly magazines and on BBC radio. Periodically, I run Happyweight practitioner trainings for counsellors.

I am a hypno

After a life-changing experience of hypnotherapy I trained in it in 1998. Similarly, I added EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) in 2002 after a profound healing event.

In 2003/4 I added NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer, Timeline Therapy Master and additional Ericksonian hypnotherapy training. 2005 was the year I became an affiliate of the National Centre for Eating Disorders after completing the Obesity and Eating Disorders Diplomas.

More recently in 2018 I added ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to my skills. It is a compassionate and mindful modality.
