If you struggle with food, you are not alone. I work with people who want to recover from eating disorders such as binge eating, bulimia, anorexia, orthorexia, emotional eating, food addiction and OSFED (Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder).

Many of my clients have spent years caught between control and chaos with food — restricting, overeating, purging, and feeling consumed by guilt and shame. My approach helps you find calm, confidence and a natural rhythm of eating again.

My approach

I use an integrated method combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, hypnotherapy, EFT, and nutritional therapy. Together, we look at both the psychological and physical sides of recovery — how you eat, think, and care for yourself.

This is a practical, evidence-based process that restores trust in your body and helps you build a healthy relationship with food.

  • Non diet and compassionate. We build skills for natural eating rather than more food rules.

  • Evidence based using gold standard therapies: ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Nutritional Therapy.

  • Hypnotherapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Mindfulness to support change. 
  • Practical skills you can use immediately.

What sessions involve

Each session is warm, practical and focused on recovery. I really care about my work with you and give my utmost energy and attention.

You’ll learn to:

  • Notice and defuse unhelpful thoughts rather than act on them.

  • Eat mindfully and stop when comfortably satisfied.
  • Use relaxation, breathwork, or EFT to manage urges.

  • Build body acceptance and self-compassion.

  • Between sessions, you’ll have access to recordings, written exercises and short practices that help you recover and stay on track.

How I came to this work

I spent around 30 years dieting. What started as wanting to be thin turned into orthorexia and an obsession with food rules. I lived with very low self-esteem, no body confidence and a constant sense of body hatred and self-disgust.

Eventually I saw that dieting itself was keeping me stuck. I stopped it and began working on my relationship with food, my body and myself in a new way. For the first time I felt free, no longer ruled by food, guilt or control. I was ecstatic! That experience changed the direction of my work.

I completed the eating disorders diploma with the National Centre for Eating Disorders and an ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) psychotherapy training. Since 2003 I have worked with clients to help them find the freedom and joy to live their lives fully.
