Stopping body-focused habits
Nail biting, skin picking, hair pulling and other entrenched body habits are collectively called "body focused repetitive behaviours" or BFRBs.
They are compulsive mental conditions that require a specific approach. Most remedies online will not help.
If you want to stop (you may have tried many things unsuccessfully), I can help.
Join the BFRBfree course and stop biting, pulling or picking.
Building body confidence
Sadly, it is common to have an unhappy relationship with the body. I see this in many clients as chaotic eating, body hatred and low self-esteem.
The struggle to control the body creates anxiety and unhappiness - even depression and serious illness.
Part of my work is in helping people to recover an accepting and kind relationship with the body. This is a place of power which allows energy to go into what truly is valuable and important in life.

Julia, London
"I can't believe how easy it has been to get to where I am now, and I feel so strongly that I don't ever want to be in the situation I was previously, where food rules and affects every part of ones life."
Vivien, West Sussex
"What a great day we all had on Thursday. You have changed lives - thank you. I found the class very relaxed and therefore easy to join in, but also packed with help and information."
Gill, Brighton
"Food is no longer an issue to me and I have not binged for six months. My weight has adjusted naturally and I am now a healthy weight for my height. It seems strange thinking back to how I used to be."
