Hi, I’m Jude Bentley. I’ve spent almost three decades helping people feel better in their bodies and in themselves. My work brings together nutritional therapy, psychotherapy, EFT and hypnotherapy to support both mind and body.

Over the years I’ve worked with everyone from public figures to people struggling quietly at home. Whether you come to me for help with eating, anxiety, gut health or general wellbeing, you’ll find a practical, kind and science-based approach that helps you make real, lasting change.

I work from a comfortable, private space where you can feel at ease. Clients tell me they feel safe with me, that I genuinely care and bring warmth and kindness to the work we do. Although we may be exploring difficult issues, sessions don’t have to feel heavy. There is often laughter as well as insight, and my hope is that you leave each time feeling lighter, not weighed down.

I specialise in mind–body issues, particularly:

  • Eating and body image issues: binge eating, bulimia, anorexia, emotional eating, failed dieting and food-related anxiety
  • Gut and digestive conditions: including IBD colitis and Crohn's and IBS

  • Anxiety and stress: panic, overwhelm, sleep difficulties, low mood, confidence, fears and phobias
  • Body focused repetitive behaviours: nail biting, hair pulling and nail biting

A holistic approach

I look at the whole picture of your wellbeing, including your health history, body, mood and mindset. What you eat, how you live and the way you cope all affect how you feel day to day. Together we’ll work on bringing your body and mind back into balance so you feel healthy, happy and able to handle life’s ups and downs.

Our sessions are a partnership. We’ll explore what you want to change and find practical ways to make it happen. When needed, I offer clear nutrition plans and psychological support to help you move forward. My aim is to give you the tools to live with more ease, energy and enjoyment.

Between sessions, you’ll have access to recordings, written exercises and short practices that help you recover and stay on track.

What to expect in consultations

In our sessions, I cherish the opportunity to help you to achieve your outcomes. I may bear witness to your experiences and trauma, helping you to heal and move forward. We might use techniques such as hypnotherapy, EFT, NLP or Timeline Therapy, depending on what is most beneficial for quickly eliminating an issue. I also offer practical skills and knowledge, whether it’s mindfulness practices, breathing techniques or simple cooking ideas.

When I work with clients, I ensure that all the medications you're taking are safe alongside any foods or supplements. It’s important to be cautious — many people are unaware of drug interactions, or they’re overly cautious and avoid supplements that could help. You may potentially reduce or stop certain medications with your doctor’s support.

All consultations are strictly confidential and conducted one-to-one. My ultimate aim is to help you regain your health and well-being, potentially reducing the need for continued sessions except for occasional check-ins.
